We created a number of new bib designs over the last week, but you cannot buy any of them yet. More on why you can’t later. First, lets take a quick look at the bibs themselves…
The new bibs are adaptations of the designs for our onesies and t-shirts. Our baby has been wearing bibs a lot because she drools and regurgitates milk a lot, as most babies do. Hence, we put the bib on to protect her clothing. This had the side-effect of covering up those cute onesies we’d designed. So, we adapted the designs to fit on bibs. That way, they’re still visible.
Everything looked great, but then disaster struck…
Why Can’t I Have a New Bib Yet?
One word: COVID-19. Okay, that’s not really a word, but the name of a nasty coronavirus that has spread worldwide and is virtually shutting down entire cities as we try to stop its spread and save lives. Well, the Print-On-Demand (POD) manufacturer that prints the bibs for us has been forced to close temporarily, and we have no alternative manufacturer to switch to.
It’s a shame that they’ve needed to close. We hope that their closing will help stop the spread of the virus, and look forward to them reopening once the danger has passed.
So, for now, all you can do is look at the new bibs and dream about the day when the virus is gone and you can buy them. Until then, we hope and pray that you and your family are safe and healthy.
NOTE: Our onesies, t-shirts and other items haven’t been affected so far, and are therefore still available.
